The Service Organization of Altenso is responsible for delivering services remotely or on-site at our customers' locations. You will support our team in Ireland (Shannonbridge), where you will work together with one other Service Technician. Your official employer will be SMA Solar Technology AG whereas you will directly support us SMA Altenso who is responsible for the fulfillment of the O&M contract.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsibility: Be responsible for the respective preventative and corrective maintenance activities of battery central inverters and battery system components and tools, and support system commissioning, or coordinate and oversee the individual subcontractors performing the respective maintenance
- Solution Orientation: Process-supported, escalate emerging problems and situations to find solutions as quickly as possible and contribute to continuous process and product improvement
- Health & Safety: Ensure that all health and safety procedures are maintained during onsite work
- Documentation: Record all issues, fill out the respective maintenance reports and take responsibility for regular reporting to the Service Coordinators and Technical Asset Manager
- Training: Train the customer’s technical personnel on-site when required and participate regularly in qualification/training measures
What you bring to the table:
- Skills: Customer-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset, and high independence
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge (Experience) of BESS technologies, used components, IT networks, and medium-voltage technology is desirable
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a positive and professional manner
- Vocational Qualification: Completed vocational training in the electrotechnical field
- Language Skills and Mobility: Very good English language skills, flexibility for on-call duties, driving’s license attained
