You’re driven by strategic partnerships, market expansion, and tangible results. You don’t just close deals - you build business. As Head of Project Sales, you’ll take full ownership of SMA’s large-scale project pipeline in Spain, working directly with high-profile customers in solar, storage, and hydrogen. You connect local opportunity with global potential - turning strategic customer relationships into long-term growth.
This role is built for someone like you: ambitious, forward-thinking, and ready to lead. And it’s just the beginning. After one year, you’re expected to transition into a Director-level role and lead SMA’s business in Spain.
Your Mission
You take the lead. You own the customer. You drive the market
· Strategically manage top-tier customers: You identify and influence key decision-makers - locally and globally - to position SMA as their partner of choice.
· Build long-term frameworks: You shape contractual partnerships that make SMA the standard for their projects - directly or through trusted partners.
· Grow the pipeline: You develop new business with Spanish project developers and EPCs, while expanding existing accounts with a clear focus on profitability and lifecycle value.
· Own the project process: From tender review to technical offer, from engineering coordination to contract negotiation - you orchestrate it all with precision.
· Collaborate globally: You work seamlessly with global key account teams, engineering, legal, BD, and local Spanish colleagues. Salesforce helps you keep everything on track.
You operate at eye-level with senior decision-makers - and at the same time, you know how to mobilize teams internally to deliver. You’re not a lone wolf; you’re a connector, strategist, and activator.

· You’ve led major sales projects - ideally in technology, energy, or infrastructure - and know what it means to develop long-term client partnerships.
· You’re structured, accountable, and results-driven - with a collaborative mindset and high intercultural awareness.
· Fluent in Spanish and English.
