Junior Process Specialist

Category:  Procurement and Purchasing

 

 

 

We are looking for Junior Process Specialist who will be responsible for procurement process management.

 

This is what your typical everyday life looks like:

  • Purchasing processes - defining, optimizing, and securing with the support of the process owner,
  • Purchasing systems - developing, improving, and managing with the support of the system owner,
  • Auditing - purchasing processes and reporting non-compliance,
  • Purchasing indicators (KPIs) - calculating and supervising,
  • Managing - supplier evaluations and supplier selection process (Xteam awarding),
  • Interdepartmental meetings - conducting on purchasing indicators and supplier performance,
  • Purchasing budget – overseeing,
  • Internal training - organizing and conducting on processes,
  • Purchasing documentation – supervising,
  • Communicating - with process owners in other areas to correct the joint process on both sides (e.g., PEP),
  • Sharepoint - managing the departmental page with the support of the Sharepoint owner,
  • Data in SAP and ERP - systematically updating and supervising,
  • Reports - updating and creating new BI (Business Intelligence – ERP module) reports with IT support, Updating reports on the status of tools at suppliers,
  • Updating - Quarterly updating of component valuations as part of the quarterly valuation of final products,
  • Supporting - Project Buyers in their daily duties (purchase requests, orders, shipping orders), Supporting Strategic Buyers (comparison of offers, price list analysis).

 

 

Skills you need for the role:

  • Experience – min. 1 year of experience in purchasing in a manufacturing company,
  • Knowledge - functioning of the purchasing department in the manufacturing industry,
  • IT – MS Office, ERP systems,
  • Communication – very good communication skills to interact with inside and outside customers in a positive and professional way,
  • Education - higher education – technical or economic, or final year of studies,
  • Language skills - good knowledge of English (B2), German would be asset.
