SMA Benelux is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to complete its Service Team widely recognized for their top-level expertise. The mission is to ensure a high-level customer satisfaction through processing and resolution to more complex, technical problems in solar systems. This role is under the direct supervision of the Service Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • You provide remote technical assistance (telephone, email, online service center, remote tools) in complex solar and storage systems ( error messages, breakdown, sunny portal) to professional customers (installers, distributors…)
  • In particular, you perform relevant diagnosis and remote recovery of failures and anomalies;
  • You use business applications for troubleshooting management and follow up on cases until resolution ;
  • You contribute to regular reporting on activities
  • You regularly exchange with your colleagues locally or even with colleagues in other subsidiaries.

 

Requirements

  • Completed industry-related technical training or comparable knowledge and experience
  • 2 years of higher education in electrical engineering or electricity
  • Good knowledge of electricity and /or IT networks;
  • Residing in Belgium - Dutch or French mother tongue / bilingual / very good knowledge English

 

Soft Skills

  • Outstanding communication and relational skills and aptitude for team-working;
  • Positive spirit, flexibility and good resistance to stress;
  • Ability to understand the technical aspects related to the field of energy/photovoltaic management;
  • Analytical skills, organization, efficiency, autonomy, precision and reliability.
