Are you passionate about the energy transition and eager to understand how renewable energy projects are commercially assessed, financed, and successfully brought to market?
As part of the Project Development Team, you will work at the interface of market, technology, and financing and gain hands-on insights into the end-to-end development of energy projects. In doing so, you actively help shape change and learn how a project idea evolves into a bankable asset.

Your mission – what you can expect with us:

  • Financial modeling: Building, maintaining, and further developing project-specific financial models in Excel, including scenario, sensitivity, and profitability analyses to support internal decision-making
  • Project evaluation: Performing commercial analyses of standalone and hybrid BESS projects across the entire development lifecycle, from early concept stages through to market readiness
  • Financing analysis: Researching and assessing suitable financing structures, deriving bankability criteria, and developing an understanding of lenders’ perspectives within a project finance context.
  • Market & M&A research: Analyzing comparable project transactions, price levels, and market trends to support pricing, positioning, and sales strategies.
  • Team collaboration: Working closely with Project Development, Strategy, and external partners in an interdisciplinary environment with a strong team spirit at eye level.

Your profile – what you bring with you:

  • Ongoing master’s studies in Finance, Economics, Energy Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
  • Very strong Excel skills and an interest in financial analysis, particularly DCF, IRR, NPV, and project economics.
  • Basic understanding of project finance and lender-focused metrics such as DSCR; initial exposure to debt sizing or financing structures is an advantage.
  • Analytical and structured working style, combined with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex topics.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills; German and additional languages are an advantage.

Your checklist:

  • You are currently enrolled as a student.
  • You are available for approximately 16–18 hours per week and can support us for at least six months, ideally longer.
  • You will receive fair compensation and benefit from a range of attractive perks.
  • Sounds like a good fit? Then apply and include your cover letter, CV, and a current overview of courses and grades. Final certificates and employment references may also be submitted if available.
