The Application Engineering Team reviews customer requests and advises them on the technical feasibility and optimization of their requests. They liaise closely with the sales, solution management and project management teams.
Your contribution to the big picture
- You advise our international customers on technical issues relating to power supplies for electrolysers and fuel cells within the Europe and Asia/Pacific regions
- You coordinate and manage customer enquiries in close cooperation with Sales, Solutions Engineering and Project Management
- You check the technical feasibility of customer enquiries and project tenders and advise customers on optimising their power supplies
- You support the team in the maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships as well as the acquisition of new customers and work with them to develop concepts for product adjustments
- The presentation of our products and services at trade fairs and roadshows is also part of your tasks
Your skills are needed
- Degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable background (e.g. training in electronics or technician with additional business qualification)
- Ideally, several years of experience in the installation of electrotechnical systems, internal sales or field service
- You are characterised by your focus on results, strong communication skills, consulting competence and a strong desire to shape the future
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and ideally SalesForce
- Very good German and English skills and a general willingness to travel
