Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our Digital Agile Team. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement innovative SAP solutions, support digital transformation initiatives, and collaborate within a dynamic, international environment. You will be responsible for advanced ABAP development, solution consulting, and driving quality through your deep technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop SAP Custom Solutions
    Develop scalable, high-quality custom enhancements and applications within SAP systems using ABAP and ABAP Objects to meet evolving business requirements.

  • Support Integration and Extensibility
    Build and maintain integrations using modern interface technologies such as EDI, Web Services, REST, OData, RFC, SOAP, and Event Mesh. Contribute to Clean Core extensibility strategies.

  • Deliver Expertise in SAP Workflow and Automation
    Create and optimize automated business workflows leveraging SAP Workflow Management tools and process automation technologies.

  • Consult on Technical Architecture and Best Practices
    Provide expert guidance on solution architecture, performance tuning, and SAP development standards. Partner with functional consultants to deliver technically sound, business-oriented results.

  • Maintain Quality and Agile Collaboration
    Ensure high standards of code quality and documentation. Work as part of an Agile Scrum team, actively participating in planning, reviews, and iterative delivery cycles.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Extensive SAP ABAP Expertise
    Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong command of ABAP Objects, CDS Views, and the RAP model.

  • Integration & Form Development Proficiency
    Proven experience in developing and maintaining interfaces (e.g., EDI, REST, SOAP) and forms (SAP Script, SmartForms).

  • Consulting & Problem Solving Skills
    Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business requirements and deliver technical solutions while acting as a trusted consultant to stakeholders.

  • Academic and Technical Credentials
    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Language & Communication
    Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 or above) and German (B2 or above), with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
